Day 4 – Your Secret Weapon
Back again to tell you about the product I created that changed my career and the Real Estate career of the agents who work for my personal brokerage. First, lets recap for a final time. If you’re like me, you’ve made the same mistakes we’ve been talking about over the last several days – discounting our worth as agents, lacking a specific focus, and having minimal ways to capture the contact information of potential clients. All of these spell disaster for a Real Estate career but, thankfully, there is always a way to turn things around.
Leads are often difficult to generate. Most agents either don’t know how to attract leads online or their online presence is mostly focused on Buyers. It’s not uncommon. In fact, most Real Estate websites are almost entirely scripted for the benefit of buyers. However, there’s an old saying that rings true more than ever, “List to Last.” While Buyers are often perceived as the easiest to obtain clients, Sellers are really what will create a lasting career in Real Estate. Why? Because having Sellers as clients create the perfect cycle of business. Attracting Sellers gain listings. Listings provide exposure. Exposure provides more listings AND brings you Buyers. Having listings keeps you in perfect Real Estate harmony with an everlasting business coming your way.
It’s win-win with listings. you get the best of both worlds and business becomes easier, the more listings you have, the easier they are to get. Everyone starts to see your signs all around town and buyers start calling in… you get the idea. It’s great to have listings, but how do you get them in the first place?
Created out of Necessity
As a Qualifying Broker it was my duty to ensure that my Agents were getting the best exposure possible, as well as receiving the leads they needed in order to continue their business. I looked at what was available on the market for Brokerages to use and I was always dissatisfied. The artist in me couldn’t accept how ugly most sites were and the business man in me knew there had to be a more affordable way for my Agents to generate leads. I went on a mission to connect with web designers and developers to create a tool, just for my Agents, that would surpass the competition and set my brokerage apart. I succeeded. Our first round of Single Property Websites were adored by clients and we were generating additional business as a result. My Agents were happy, our clients were happy, and we created a system that worked flawlessly as a Brokerage.
Over time, my passion for creating these tool increased and ultimately surpassed my desire to continue owning a Real Estate brokerage. My time as an Agent and Qualifying Broker was truly invaluable and it provided me the opportunity to fill a gap in the marketing market that desperately needed new blood. Organically, I purposefully and methodically shrunk my brokerage so that I could focus all of my talent, skill, and knowledge on creating tools for Agents across the United States. That’s when I created Elevated Real Estate Marketing.
A Flower That Blossomed
I set out to create an online tool that would eventually become a secret weapon for top producing agents and supported their goals of increasing their annual income with very little effort. What I ended up with was a a powerful lead generation system was built after years of chasing sellers for their business and, instead, has sellers coming directly to Agents. It’s a breath of fresh air for most Agents who want to create a beautiful online presence, establish a consistent brand, who want to streamline their lead generation process, and for those who to turn up their sales volume it’s been immensely helpful. As a new Agent! From then on, I knew I was creating something great.
